The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Fighters Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative including celestial beings, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in influence within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to begin their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem out of place, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party knows exactly where to head next after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death started the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, attacking the rogue, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each character has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • But, their position as key figures in House Halovar could assist the team reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor pledged a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can expect learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
